Terms of Service

By using WaqfChain (website, app, or smart contracts), you agree to these Terms, the Shariah Policy, and all platform policies. If you do not agree, you may not use the platform.

• ✓You may only create or fund waqfs with pure charitable intention (niyyah).
• ✓All waqf donations are irrevocable once the corpus is locked on-chain.
• ✓Donors receive a non-transferable NFT-style digital certificate as proof of sadaqah jariyah.
• ✓The platform never charges fees on waqf corpus or revenues; operations are funded solely by the separate voluntary WaqfChain Support Waqf.

• ✕Any attempt to use the platform for non-Shariah-compliant purposes.
• ✕Fraud, money laundering, or false declarations in any waqf submission.
• ✕Interference with smart contracts or on-chain data integrity.
• ✕Impersonation of scholars, institutions, or platform staff.

• →Maintain the Independent Shariah Supervisory Board and multi-tier governance.
• →Ensure 100% of waqf funds reach the dedicated corpus.
• →Provide real-time transparency and annual independent audits.
• →Protect user data in accordance with the Privacy Policy and GDPR/FADP.

WaqfChain acts solely as a technology facilitator and mutawalli service provider. We are not liable for on-ground project execution (handled by local partners) or changes in local law, provided Shariah compliance is maintained.

The platform may suspend or terminate access for violation of Shariah Policy or these Terms. Locked waqfs remain perpetual and unaffected by any such action — the corpus is irrevocably dedicated to its stated charitable purpose.

These Terms are governed by Shariah principles as interpreted by the Independent Shariah Supervisory Board, supplemented by the laws of Switzerland (Canton of Vaud) where applicable for platform operations.
